I got accepted into the Affair in The Square Craft Show!

I’m so excited I got accepted into the Affair in the Square Craft show in Medina, OH! Sunday August 11th. It is 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. See me there!

If you check out my events page on my website you can view other craft shows I will be attending this summer. Link: Events.

Depending on how each show pans out this year will depend on if I would like to do some more in the fall and winter months. I would really like to though so I can create some themed work with the Holidays. Stay tuned!

Update on things going on! 2-19-2024

I’m excited to share that I will be doing my very first craft shows this summer! Outside of the one I did at work the past 2 years. Mill Street Maker’s Market June 9th and July 21st in Medina, OH off of Mill Street which is behind the Marathon Gas Station and Autozone.

I also applied to An Affair in The Square. I haven’t heard back yet but they usually have 150+ vendors. I’m still waiting to hear back if I got in or not. Sadly the application/register fee is non-refundable. I’m crossing my fingers!

The Mill Street Maker’s Market is the much smaller one, but I loved going to them on Sundays. I figured it would be a good first market to do.

I have been preparing some new summer designs to add to products like t-shirts, prints, glass cans, tote bags, handmade woodcut earrings and mugs. The t-shirts I am using DTF transfers from Jiffy shirts on Gildan Unisex Softees. My mugs and glass cans I will just be using sublimation.

Prints I am actually just printing off at home to save me some extra cost of everything else I spent on some display items to use for my shows.

I can’t wait. I hope to see some followers there!

Disney Family Vacation October 15-21, 2023

I have been meaning to post this long blog post for a whole month and a half after our vacation! lol Just so many photos to go through.

Sunday flight to Orlando, FL! It was our first day on our trip to Florida. Our Daughter’s 1st flight! Checking in and going through security went smoothly. We got breakfast at Starbucks while we waited to board our flight. I was proud of our Daughter doing good up until we had to land because I had to buckle her back in her seat and she wanted in my lap. Garett’s Aunt and Uncle picked us up from the Airport in which we stayed at their house for the week in Winter Park [Thank you again for letting us stay! it was the best].

We got settled in and had some relaxing time playing and watching Bluey. She had to get a picture with Mr. Bones!

Later in the day we met up with Garett’s cousins to have dinner at The Porch. It was very delicious food. I definitely would eat here again. After dinner Garett and Brianna went for a swim! Getting her down for bed was pretty easy that night as we did get up super early to get to the airport. So it was a good 1st day! Garett and I ended the night soaking in the hot tub before going to bed.

Monday it was a free day for us until we visited Magic Kingdom and Star Wars Tuesday and Wednesday. So we all took a stroll to have breakfast in Winter Park at Barnie’s. They had really good breakfast. It was a very nice walk and I enjoyed seeing all the gorgeous houses along the way. Definitely found a dream home with a gorgeous front porch! I absolutely loved it. [Picture Below]

I would love to get this floor plan and build something similar to this in Ohio! Love that front porch.

We stopped by to see Brianna’s cousins! We all went out and had lunch at Agave Azul. That was the best mexican food I have had in awhile. Another place I definitely would go to again when we visit Florida again.

After lunch we went on a boat tour around Lake Osceola, Lake Virgina, Lake Mizell, and Lake Berry in Winter Park, Florida. The last couple of minutes girly took a little nap on the boat ride. Then we went back to the house to relax, before meeting up with the cousins again for a picnic in the park where we got to see the sunrail trains.

Finally our DISNEY DAY to the Magic Kingdom! I haven’t been to Disney World since I was 8 years old. Definitely much smaller than I remember. It’s most likely because I was small at the time and now that I’m an adult it’s not that bad of a walk. lol. Which I can see that making the difference. We had a stroller to lug girly around. Which made her super lazy to want to walk! Kids right?! Anyway, We had an awesome time. We had purchased Genie+ to reserve some rides. A lot of them were honestly 15-25 minutes when we were there. The longest wait times were of course the more popular rides. Which we didn’t go on. Haunted Mansion I figured would be too scary for Brianna. We will do that one when she’s much older.

The first thing we did when we got to Magic Kingdom was to meet Ariel! The only Princess we did meet. <3 One of my very 1st favorite Disney movies and now Brianna’s favorite. She was hesitant at first, but I’m glad she warmed up to her.

After meeting Ariel and riding the carousel. We had a reservation for lunch at the Crystal Palace. Where we got to meet Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore. Brianna has no clue who they were as we have not had her watch Winnie The Pooh yet but she loved them.

After lunch we rode the magic carpet ride and the train that goes around Magic Kingdom. Then our last ride we rode the Carousel again! We also had to go find the Sword in The Stone. I at least remembered it was near the Carousel! lol.

We ended our first Disney World night getting Cheesecake Factory delivered to where we were staying. It was a very fun day!

Wednesday we went to Hollywood Studios! We are nerds and really the only thing we wanted to see was Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge. Even though Brianna hasn’t ever seen Star Wars she loved it and go to be a Jedi with Daddy. Honestly it was the only thing exciting about Hollywood Studios. We didn’t ride anything. We just walked around and explored.

I wasn’t feeling too good this day, but we got through it. We had a break at Oga Cantina’s. Ordered some drinks to get hydrated.

After Oga Cantina’s we got in line to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse since we did not get pictures with them at Magic Kingdom. Girly loved seeing them! She was so excited. I’m glad she has got over the fear of people in costumes. She was weary when she just turned 2.

We walked through Toy Story Land but didn’t ride anything. Walked through Star Wars Galazxy’s Edge one last time as well since we didn’t walk through the market area. I had to get my Dad something from the gift shops.

Only stayed at Hollywood studios for about 3-4 hours. So we went to Disney Springs after to check it out. Had amazing lunch at Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill. We got wood-fired pizza. It was very delicious. Highly recommend trying it! Checked out the M & M store and the giant World of Disney store. Got a couple of gifts from there but not too much. The crowd was crazy in the store and there was so much to look at.

Overall it was a good day besides feeling crummy. Thankfully after we stopped to get some meds I felt much better. I figured since we travelled I’d end up getting sick.

October 19, 2023

Thursday was a relaxing kind of day, but we did end up walking to Barnie’s for breakfast again. Then we had some fun at the park nearby where we were staying before going and meeting up with cousins again in the afternoon. We definitely had girly nap our last two days in Florida.

You can also see peacocks in the area! which was really cool. Apparently they were a problem and some of them had to be relocated somewhere else.

The cousins had a blast! It was so nice to see everyone. Went to another park in the same day. Brianna loves the swings so much. We got chinese take out while girly had nuggets, bananas and an uncrustable I believe. She has become very picky of what she eats.

October 20, 2023

I know I’m all over the place in this blog post. I’m definitely not a writer and don’t really ever plan to be though I have always thought it would be cool to write a novel. Anyway, friday was the last day in Florida until we had to leave on a plane on Saturday afternoon.

We decided to check out the Orlando Science Center in the morning. It was very cool! Brianna had so much fun in the water area and the jungle gym I like to call it. She wore me out in there! I got so exhausted chasing her around making sure she wasn’t going to hurt herself. lol.

I recommend the Orlando Science Center for little kids! it was a fun experience. There of course was a few things that were for kids 8 and up, which is ok. Next time we are in the Orlando area this is a place we will definitely visit again.

In the evening we were invited to Burke’s Halloween Trunk or Treat at his school. So we brought Brianna her butterfly costume to wear. We had hot dogs and chips to eat that night. She’s still figuring out the concept of Halloween, but I think she’ll be there next year. But she has the best manners. Always start them young. We don’t even have to prompt her anymore to say Thank you or You’re Welcome.

These two were so cute together. At the end of the night Brianna asked to hold his hand and he let her. It was the cutest thing ever!

All in all we had a very fun vacation. I definitely wish it was longer but if it was any longer the more expensive it would have been. lol. We can’t wait to come back to Florida again! <3 Brianna already keeps asking to go to Disney again. lol.
